Our Leadership Team Member,
Jill Saban
Physiotherapist/Clinic Director
BPE, MScPT, CAFCI, SFMA
Jill is a Physiotherapy phenom at our Heritage Valley clinic, and she is big into sports. She comes from an athletic background and loves treating athletes to make sure they’re operating in optimum shape, but she also loves treating your average, everyday person…healing makes her happy! She has a ton of hobbies, including baking, basketball, watching the Oilers, reading, working out, yoga, and water sports, but we’re still skeptical about her claims of being a master French macaron baker. We’re gonna need some more evidence to back that claim up! (Do you hear that, Jill?! We’re talking SAMPLES!). Also, we’d be remiss if we didn’t mention her fabulous shoe collection, so if you’re into that kind of thing, be sure to ask her about it.
She studied at the University of Alberta, obtaining her Bachelor of Physical Education, followed by a Masters of Science in Physical Therapy – all whilst playing varsity basketball – as well as at Grant MacEwan AND Concordia University in Montreal. She still coaches boys high school volleyball to this day, when she’s not busy fixing people in a clinic bed. She is also certified with the Acupuncture Foundation of Canada and has taken post-graduate courses in SFMA, functional dry needling, and concussion treatment.
